One of the first workers’ compensation telemedicine networks in the industry, Prime Health Services’ Prime Telemed product is quickly growing to nationwide access. Prime Telemed is an exclusive provider network, full of initial care providers specializing in workers’ compensation, that is outcomes based driven.

Fifteen states are ready for workers’ compensation telemedicine access as part of the Prime Telemed network product: California, Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

“Clients are now implementing Prime Telemed, anxious for outcomes-based providers at the initial intake,” stated Jennifer Ryon, VP of Business Development and Account Management. “With fifteen states ready for client access, we are thrilled to get our sales team connected with additional companies that are interested in improving the efficiencies of the worker’s initial care visit via telemedicine.”

Prime Health Services is currently focused on expanding telemedicine access to these priority states: Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Ohio, and Wisconsin. They will continue to build out the Prime Telemed network based on client geographic locations, with the end goal of expanding to full nationwide 24/7 access.

“Prime Telemed is a specialty network comprised of exclusive initial care providers specializing in workers’ compensation that are being trained in-depth on the telemedicine platform and associated tools, providing a client with the same expertise of an in-person initial care visit but saving time with a telemedicine visit” explains Todd Hurt, VP of Provider Relations and Contracting.

Prime Health Services has strategically partnered with Consumer Health Connections (CHC Telehealth), a technology company that offers innovative, cloud-based solutions tailored only for the workers’ compensation industry.
