Forward Eligible Offsite Bills
An agency can forward any bills related to offsite medical, dental, or optical costs for inmates to Prime Corrections for review.

Prime uses proprietary software to adjudicate and scrub submitted medical claims according to CMS standards, helping identify review opportunities early in the process.
Scrubbing is performed at the detail-line level and can identify issues such as unauthorized or inappropriate services, incomplete claims, duplicate claims, invalid or excessive codes, and unbundled charges.
Prime’s specialized Contracting Department negotiates directly with providers to secure substantial discounts. If savings are not achieved, there is no charge for the service.
Once enrolled, agencies can provide the Member-ID card when care is needed or send outstanding bills to Prime after care has already been provided.
