Hospital Contract Manager

Our Provider Relations team is seeking candidates who want to join our exciting company based in beautiful Brentwood, Tennessee, a suburb of Nashville.
This position is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and contracting health systems (including Medical Centers, Hospitals, Specialty Hospitals and “Centers of Excellence”) nationally. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience in negotiating high-level contracts, ensuring a cost effective contract in compliance with all State/Federal Guidelines while meeting corporate requirements.
The successful candidate will have the skills to obtain favorable fee arrangements for PHS. They will also analyze data and use data to develop strategies for contracting and re-contracting. They will also have a proven track history of such negotiations and possess a verifiable set of references to confirm such success.
Excellent written and oral communications skills, flexibility, adaptability, problem solving capability, creativity, initiative, teamwork skills, prioritization skills, public relations and customer service skills are required. Strong technical skills required, including MS Office. This is a traveling position (up to 25% of overall time, as needed). A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required for this position, but the proven history of success is of higher importance overall.
